The first meal delivered today

Funded by the Covid19 relief fund this lady received the first meals on wheels delivered by K one of the local organisers. J who runs a small restaurant nearby prepared eleven meals as a trial run for the three days next week. A lovely and very different few hours spent on this wonderful coastline. The service will continue for about eight weeks.

Mull and Iona Community Trust accessed funding for the food and organised the local group to pull this together, we used their electric powered van to deliver the food and afterwards K joined up with another group to deliver 28 food boxes in the area. I walked home from the village against a very strong wind, most invigorating.
