LOCK DOWN – DAY 74
Went to the park at 7.30 this morning. It was full of joggers. However on the plus side I found a manky old tennis ball. I carried it all the way home and put it into my toy box with all the other manky old balls that I have found.
My human has not has a good day. She thought that she was getting used to this 'lock down' thingy but actually, she's come to the conclusion that she only likes lock down if she can sit in the sunshine and read her trashy magazines. She has not been able to do that for a couple of days. Today she was in 'mega depressed mode' so after she'd taken me for my morning walk and had two slices of toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast, she took herself off to bed for the rest of the morning. Well she didn't have much else to do. I just jumped up onto the bed with her and had a little snooze too, because after I've had my morning walk, I pretty much just snooze till it's time for my next walk. She didn't make me move off the bed cos she couldn't be bothered and actually she quite likes the facts that I want to be near her.
Then she got up, had a bacon roll for lunch. And watched two episodes of 'Classic Eastenders'. Maybe from 1993/4-ish?? Up to the bit where David Wicks finds out he's Bianna's father?, if anyone's interested.
Went out for an hour and a half this afternoon. Met a very horrible man with two black labs. He actually tried to kick me away. No idea why. Yes I was quite close to him because I'm a dog and I actually don't know what 2m is. Anyway Ann put me back on my lead for a few mins. I wasn't doing anything naughty. As far as we could make out he was angry because I wasn't 2m away from him. It's always men that seem to want to intimate women by telling them they can't control their dogs???? But his Labs were being really naughty. They were rummaging around in the woods, just doing what dogs do, and he was constantly yelling at them to come back to him and they were ignoring them. Hmmmm............... if 'horrible man' was my owner, I'd be ignoring him. I'm really glad that Ann is my owner and not 'horrible man'. Once we were sure he was a long way behind us, I got let off my lead for a another good run. Yay!!!
And then when we got home Ann phoned her bestie and another friend so they have cheered her up. Yay!!
…................And now it's Friday night......................... And I've gobbled up all my dinner. And Ann has an 'Aldi steak & ale pie' cooking in the oven which should be ready just in time for her to eat in front of 'Corrie'.
