A trifle moist for a change.

The "up" side - it means we don't have to trot around watering pots, at least for a while.  For a change I took 40 very early winks in the recliner in the living room and awoke to rain fairly BASHING the window.
Came back through to "the Computer Shack" as we christened it.  It got lighter so I went out expecting to dodge at least a few drops - BIG sunshine.
Checked the Rain gauge = 0.5" overnight.   This is not it; this is the jug I used to fill the birds' feeding stations and forgot to import, so I used it to top up the carnivorous "swamp".
