Gentian or Enzian

Today was a bank holiday, we stayed up in Beatenberg at the tent. Had a very relaxing brunch with a view, and took it very easy until 2pm. Mr S suggested a walk up above Beatenberg village, on some new paths through the forest. It was really beautiful, steep paths, alpine meadows, and of course, the fantastic vista of the Berner Alps.
Back at the campsite, we were the only People there, so unbelievably peaceful. Next week the campsite with will be able to open to tourers again. After a lovely MSR spaghetti and tomato sauce dinner, we enjoyed a fire, and an early night. Oh how I love my Western Mountaineering down sleeping bag, so cosy and warm.
