Rigi

Today I got off too an early start, taking the train and bus to Küssnacht. At 7.30, I was sat next to the lake having a pre hike cappuccino and croissant. At 7.45, the sun was already hot, as I set off up the steep hill to Seebodenalp. The view of Pilatus and the Rigi was out of this world. The next 2 km was flat, before the last 500m push up to the Rigi Chänzeli. You could see the whole alp chain, including Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Went up to Rigi Staffelhöheweg and then down to Kaltbad, taking the Cablecar, stuffed full of tourists from all over the world back down to Weggis.
