Colour

The weather has certainly changed - a birthday tea outside in a lovely large garden was rather chilly in comparison to how wonderfully hot it has been. But it did not rain so no real complaints.  Porsecco, finger sandwiches, delicious flapjacks and small cakes were enjoyed and finally a warming cup of tea. Birthday girl was delighted.
I have a birthday in August. We might be doing the same again though I'd prefer to be going out somewhere!  Will have to wait and see what life is like at that time to make decisions.
This was a lovely astrantia that a been landed on as I clicked - hence the dark patch.  Friend's garden is looking wonderful - she has worked very hard on it and after the rain it looks even better.
