At last

I have been nurturing an indoor plant on the kitchen windowsill. I bought it as an "unknown" from a charity stall.   Lots of long green leaves appeared with no sign of much else.  I continued to be kind to said plant and then - bingo - last week a little colour appeared and three tiny (about 2" long) flowers formed.  So now I know it is a calla lily of some sort.  One of my favourite flowers to try photographing so being  a very grey day I have  spent time trying to get a fun shot of it. 
Going out to lunch as fellow blipper, Terrifo had a birthday yesterday - would be rude not to take the opportunity to celebrate.   At our age every birthday is a celebration!  
So early blip and off to play.
