Above the river...

on a track I don't usually take, in the afternoon when I don't usually start out, but I had an early morning walk and after painting, reading and doing a crossword I felt like another leg stretcher. Met several friends and had a blether each time, so it was a social activity too.
The Bugle is so prolific this year that I put one in the extra with a Carder Bee.
Found a Mallard on the lochan with ten tiny ducklings and a Moorhen with two.
The Robin was feeding its youngster in the garden first thing.
A warmer, calmer day today, so good for walking.
