Ceillidh

A very full evening of socialising, first an early evening of poetry and song, Chuck Kruger an American who has been living on Cape Clear Island for the past twenty years has written some wonderful poems about Island life. Pol O Colmaine one of my favourite local musicians sings many beautiful songs in Irish.
As if that wasn't enough excitement for one evening I headed off late to a ceillidh to dance a few sets with friends into the night. There were as many musicians as dancers, they look a bit serious in my blip but the atmosphere was really joyful.
