Oak edging
When W ordered the OSB to line the insulated walls of the shed, he was worried about not ordering enough, as we no longer have a car with a tow bar, or a trailer, so had to pay for the delivery (not cheap). As a result, he somewhat overestimated the number of sheets he would need, and had plenty left over for other projects, including a double thickness worktop along the back of the shed. You can just see the front edge of it above the chest of drawers here.
Also amongst our stored wood were some lengths of oak architrave, left in the rafters of the garage by the previous occupants of the house.
So W has cut down the architrave, and very cleverly made a lovely oak edging for the worktop.
We went to the garden centre this morning to get some small decorative rocks for the boulder bed, and some otter food fish for our patio pool - but failed to find either. They are expecting a delivery of fish tomorrow, so I may pop back there - I do in any case need to go to the supermarket in the next couple of days - we are almost out of milk.
