Here Stood...

We tried walking in Shad Thames yesterday, braving the DLR, crossing Tower Bridge and heading east, towards Rotherhithe.
There is a definite feeling among many that distancing is now irrelevant ...one that WonderA and I don’t share....so the pleasures to be had were diluted by other’s lack of care.
So, today we went back again into the Square Mile, where very few seem to venture. You can lose yourself in the warren of echoing alleys and courts, constantly amazed by how much of the old City remains, defiant in the long shadow of the banal supertowers.
