Twilight Delight

Leaving one's blip until twilight is not perhaps a good idea. Who knows what the gods will give us. I had already made my rounds before the sun went down and taken my photographs for today, but given the opportunity I made the effort and went out a second time.

I don't think the photograph quite lives up to reality and maybe that's down to my lack of skill. The broken circle of cloud lit up from below the horizon seemed to soar way higher over my head. It seemed to come from an alien world.

Although I tried to capture it in one frame, in the end a two shot pano seemed the best approach.
