Flaming June.
Day one and it was hot.
My customers have an ornamental weeping Ash which has contracted Ash Dieback and this year has only produced 2 leaves, a quick phone call to their trusted tree surgeon confirmed it needed to go.
Cutting it down was easy, trying to dig it out was not, even with 8ft as a lever and all the roots cut through it didn't budge so it's now a small stump which will have to rot away. In the blazing sun I more than worked off the previous evenings curry!
It is a shame that it's gone but we gave it every chance to revive and it didn't do removing it and burning it was better than the neighbouring mighty Ash also catching it.
This evening I've rebuilt the work bench that RF's son didn't want and it is now my potting bench.
