Picnic on the hill

Went off in spitty lunchtime to meet Arthur, Sally and their Morgan for a picnic at Toys hill. This spot is the site of a former manor house called Weardale. It had a great view. The house was built in 1906 but demolished in 1939 after Lord Weardale had died in 1923. It did have 145 rooms!

This was the first time I had been near these friends since February, so nice to be together even with a 2mtr gap! :-)
