The (Bug)boys are back in town...

Spring is clearly in the air. I found a large number of these Gerris pondskaters on my pond tonight, still active after dark. This photo was taken with illumination from my head torch and the phone camera flash. The pondskater's eyes are reflecting the flash. I'm very happy to find insects to blip about so early in the year.
