Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

When I came out to go to the bus this morning, I had another interested tenant, wanting to build a nest. Fortunately I had my vinegar spray bottle close so I gave the place another spray. It became less interesting and the would be tenant flew around the corner in to my patio, wanting to get in to my home. Fortunately door were closed, so that didn't work!
Topp right is one of my chores today: hunting down lice. Two of them played hide and seek around topp stems on a chili plant. I was surprised to see this. This is not the behaviour of lice. We also have an eco friendly and natural way of reducing the lice. A small predatory insekt. They come in different sizes in nature, but ours are really tiny. They do wonderful work!
Second is the arrival of buzzing cuteness in Greenhouse 1. The bumblebees have arrived! Soon we will have fluffy cute balls flying around us among the tomato plants.
Third in that row and the two others in the down row are summer flowers we sell in the greenhouses.
After work I went to a garden shop to pick up an order of large flower pots. I have that kind before and I really like those pots. As I walked on a forest path, I met a Robin. He was collecting food for, I guess, his younglings. We took the same path for a little bit until he flew up on a branch and I quickly took a snapshot of him. It would've been a fab shot, but the sneaky little one flew of just as I took the shot... I see him further down around a tree stem. This was an earlier shot and he's visible despite being taken on an iPhone. :D
