Still in Progress

Here is my self portrait as of this morning's painting session. I've still got a couple of days to finish it. I'm liking it more each time I work on it. I can already see things I want to continue working on.

Today I worked on my journal and this painting. I'm grieving over the needless death of George Floyd in Minneapolis at the hands of a police officer. I cannot imagine hearing a person tell you that he cannot breathe and just ignoring him to the point of death. Or hearing people ask you to stop and paying no attention. Or being the other police there who did nothing to stop him either. Very sad. And unacceptable. Enough! Black lives matter!
