John’s apple tree

I usually blip him each winter pruning the hundreds of shoots that cover the tree. We had a celebratory get together this morning with six of us chatting in the sunshine, when looking up I was impressed to see the apple tree looking very green and could see the shape J has been aiming for over the years. Another great day although very hot this afternoon slowing us right down to a standstill, not difficult sometimes.
