Ducklings are growing

It was two weeks ago we went up to the lake and saw the swans had ducklings and each time we visit they seem to have grown so much. I couldn’t believe how much they had grown today!

I started with my long run of 13 miles today which was early, before it got too hot. It went well and felt good.

I suggested some baking to the children and they were keen so make chocolate chip cupcakes and whilst they cooled we cycled to the lake and saw these swans.

When we got home the children decorated the cakes themselves, which they loved and then we had a bbq during the evening.

A lovely end to the half term week.
