Lots of Activity

Even foggy days are better if you start off at the ocean, which I did. The sun never did come out, and there was something coming out of the sky for a few minutes that could have passed for rain, so I spent the rest of the day inside. I have four more (long) rows to do on my red and black shawl, and then I get to learn the Icelandic bind-off! 
We got take out for date night, with a chocolate dessert and a nice bottle of Chardonnay, so all is well.

The fruit in the photo will be Asian pears in a few months.
