Pink carpet
I watered the garden first thing and then went for a run before it got too warm - though it did get pretty warm and later the breeze got up a bit.
I decided to stay local and went up the lane above the estate and it's probably the last time as nettles have nearly overtaken a part of the path and in the strip of woodland at the top was a carpet of pink purslane. It was shady on this bit and some of the more open parts of the run had a bit of a breeze but I was glad I'd taken some water and wasn't in a hurry. 11k managed altogether. Nice views to the Sidlaws and later across Dundee. More traffic on the road north, including a couple of camper vans.
Afternoon was a mixture of reading, crafts and gardening then a delicious glass of red wine. I also washed a load of towels which dried in just over and hour.
