Present Blip #3 and #4

Two of my birthday presents feature in today's blip: a new book (I was glad to finish my previous one last night - it didn't live up to the promise of the author's last novel) and my very lovely blanket crocheted by my clever little-big sister. It was intended for the chair on the top landing but it was lovely to sit out in the garden pre and post 8pm clap for carers. Bailey approves  - he may have caught a whiff of his dog cousin.

Bailey and I were up and walking by a bit after eight this morning and then I completed a work job before cutting the grass. I had intended to plant everything up today but there were a few more jobs to be done and calls to take and make - much more so than any other day this week. There's a weekly (lengthy) meeting tomorrow so the planting will happen before or after that. And there'll be time for more sitting in the garden.
