colorful names on a cloudy day

Today I took Laney for a hike up to the reservoir. She was thrilled to run around off-leash and have a dip in the water. Meanwhile storm clouds were gathering so the light was very flat and most of my shots looked like they were taken in mono mode. 
The main photo is a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and in extras is a Violet-green Swallow skimming the water.
