Cake from friend

My friend Ruth came round for a cuppa and a chat this afternoon and brought home-made cake! As you can see some of it has already been eaten (of course!) I was worried that Ruth was not going to survive in autumn of last year as she caught Legionnaire's Disease - in Italy of all places. She had a wonderful holiday, got home and got progressively more ill and was in intensive care. Apparently she caught a mild form of it - so goodness knows what the bad version is like! Anyway she is now fully recovered, thank goodness.
