The Allium That Went on Walkabout

I have planted all kinds of things in our yard during the 16 years I've lived here. A number of years ago, I planted some allium along the tree row by the road that runs in front of our house. They sort of disappeared for a while.

But I recently spied a group of them in the woods, probably 30 or more feet from where I originally planted them. I guess they got tired of where they were standing and simply gathered up as a group and walked away!
