Cactus flowers (Day 1846)

I spent the morning in the kitchen batch cooking food for the dogs and getting it all bagged up and ready to go in the freezer. It is a fairly long process, made more difficult by tripping over the dogs every five seconds. They know that the food is for them.
A quick trip out to Lyde after lunch once I managed to peel the dogs away from the kitchen, then off out to a call out in Kirkwall. 
I hadn't taken any pics today, but noticed that the cactus in the porch has bloomed again and it looked nice in the sunshine.
The dogs and I are really pleased to have  my beautiful wife home from work at last.
