Sea birds

Miss T made us a beautiful breakfast smoothie this morning and the photo is in extras. Made with fresh mango, strawberries, pineapple and banana. Thankfully we have plenty of fruit at the moment and so we can put off shopping for another day.  We have just started venturing out into the shops and so getting the hang of where to stand, and what to not do is a newly forming skill for us. Thank goodness for apple pay!

The sea birds were noticeably missing out on the cliffs today but on the way back from the chemist I could see where they were.
This farmer was ploughing his field and the birds were following his every move. Rich pickings I think if you are quick.

The desk continues, the sanding is quite a long job! Hopefully it will pass muster when it is finished. I suspect it may be a bit chunkier than the etsy one, I always like to make things strong ;)

Today has been very hot and our choice of supper has been decided by the freezer. Someone ? didn't close the door properly when they got an ice cream out and so the salmon had started to defrost. We have been enjoying the salad leaves growing in the garden, so they will help a salad along. We will soon have some strawberries to pick although very small numbers  at a time.

Tomorrow Izzy and Tilly are coming for the day so we will enjoy a fun day. A local hotel is making afternoon tea take away boxes. We may try one as the children like cake ;)
