Look Closely

On the far right of this picture is an osprey with his evening meal.  On the left is a mother Canada goose with her new babies.  I was worried that the osprey would snatch up a baby and with the way mom had tucked the kids under the bush, I thought she was too.  The osprey flew around and then sat in a tree for a few minutes before he went after his fish.  He dove into the water about 15 feet from where the babies were.  I frankly don't know if osprey eat baby geese but I was worried there for a few minutes.
