Lennon's Wall, Maidstone

Today took a drive into Maidstone (my nearest town) for a walk around the virtually deserted town centre. It is the first time I have ventured there for nearly 8 weeks and it felt surreal - 99% of the shops, restaurants and pubs were closed and some have even been boarded up. It seemed like something out of a science fiction film! My main image was taken down a deserted side street and instantly reminded of John Lennon circa Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The additional image is an advert on a bus stop for cake. Something I have been eating far too much of in lockdown and not necessarily sharing!
