Dawn breaks.....

.....over the estuary, a breathtaking sight as fiery shades engulfed the sky intensifying as sunrise progressed. Both blipper mpp26 and I stood in awe as we tried to capture this magical moment.

The morning was pleasant, calm and warm, 10C, as the sea crashed onto shore and rushed to swamp our running feet, there were words uttered 'watch out!', and then a few laughs were had.

Other photographers gathered along the beach, some with cameras and others with cell phones, the perfect morning for a quiet chat.

We wandered away from the beach down to the rivermouth and along the estuary watching dotterels, oystercatchers, spoonbills, black swans and a lone white heron.

I thoroughly enjoyed being out this morning, when the sky was dramatic, vibrant and stunning. Thanks M for a wonderful time :)
