Iris Siberica
I would guess that it's been the hottest day of the year so far here.
First thing I watered the garden. Having had so little rain for weeks, almost for the entire length of lockdown, the plants were beginning to look a little jaded.
The early morning light was illuminating this Iris in an other wise shady corner which prompted me to get the camera.
This evening we have just had a trial zoom meeting ahead of our CC's AGM next week so no time to visit the owls.
However, I've just got round to posting yesterday's blip - owls again but taken in the late evening sun
