Cycled out to shotton hall to visit Karen, accidentally met, darren, john and a neighbour, all at barge pole distance though.
Very slow on the bike, but the roads were amazingly quiet. 55 mins to do 8k each way.
Edit: 8 miles not 8k so better than I thought
