Autumn / Spring flowers

The jonquils are early this year. I have two different ones blooming. 

Extras....I had trial number three of sourdough baking this morning. I’ve done something different each time. Here are two baked with identical ingredients one in a tin and one in a Dutch oven ( both fitted in the oven together). The one in the tin is heavier and has not risen as much, interesting as I would have thought they would be the same or the one in the tin would have lost more moisture as it wasn’t enclosed with a lid. It wasn’t scored on top so that may have kept the moisture in. Umm interesting. We ate some of the big one for lunch. It’s much cheaper than buying sourdough as all you need are a few cups of flour, some home made starter, two teaspoons of salt and water. The oven was powered by solar.
