Emergent window seat

Today I actually sat on the window seat without fear of it collapsing, which is an important milestone for a place to sit. The window seat is based on my ideas of a window seat, but is otherwise Jacwingian, other than the woodglue, no hinges yet. Otherwise just a thin application of wood-oil to the outer face of the door and a narrowly avoided summary execution for sandpapering in a freshly dusted and vacuumed environment. We still need to go shopping.

On a wider scale, Poland is as ever seething, but I think it interesting to note that Ms. Grodzka an M.P. for Mr Palikot's grouping is a favoured candidate to become a deputy speaker in parliament. Maybe Poland is going to be the first country to have a transsexual speaker in parliament. And why not indeed?
