Five swans a swimming?!

Didn't sleep great, woke up so many times!
Used some purple shampoo on my hair.....supposed to be good for blondes, not that I am at the moment!!!

Another trip to the post office to post a parcel.
Have sold both the wedding outfits I had for our boys' weddings on Ebay......real bargains, but no point in letting them waste away in the loft!!'

Its our middle sons wifes birthday today..... someone at her place of work has told everyone she is 40, she saw the funny side luckily ;-) Shes not long had her 30th!!!

After lunch we were hoping the weather might brighten up, even though its been warmer, still really overcast, but as usual the forecast was wrong! Nevertheless we had a short drive out to Crosby for our daily exercise.....we couldnt believe how buys it was when we arrived!! We almost turned around and left to be honest.

Once we got onto the beach it was fine we walked our 10k steps, steered clear of everyone......most people were fine, but there were some big groups that ai doubt were all from one household :-/

I took my camera with me......the light wasnt great, but I did like this shot. We watched the chap take off his shoes and walk into the lake with the swans......each to their own I guess lol!! Ive also added an extra, a view across the lake towards the large cranes in the Docks at New Brighton.

More traffic around as we headed home, but it was "rush hour" We just got home in time for hub to catch the daily update. I took myself off into the garden, sods law, the sky was blue and the sun was out, not at I am complaining.

Dinner tonight was psn fried hake with king prawns in a herb butter, with sliced potatoes, peas, asparagus and oven roasted tomatoes.
Looked lovely, but I didnt enjoy the hake and hub didnt like the potatoes :-(

We have discovered the series Normal People, that lots of people have been raving about....it is really good, well cast, very well acted and tastefully done.
