The 13th

Chris & I played our second round of golf since lockdown eased today. I managed to play better than Friday (and not lose many balls!) while Chris suddenly hit a purple patch of form on the back nine, scoring 6 pars and a birdie in 9 holes. I've threatened to confiscate his club's if he plays that well again:)

Not having had the chance to blip it for a while, I thought it was time for another of my regular blip subjects, the tree in the middle of the 13th fairway, to make an appearance again. We'd both managed to hit our drives in the shadow of the tree, just about far apart to keep the required distance!

The afternoon was spent trying to sort out further issues with our holiday insurance claim (not very successfully) and problems with the signal on our new mobile phones(very successfully, thanks to a helpful lady from BT).
