Happy 70th Hubby!

A special birthday in lock down isn’t easy to arrange but it was a great success! The sun shone which helped! Our son and grandson delivered two huge balloons which we displayed either side of our front door .... plus a lovely cake our son had made. This afternoon family popped by in their permitted social bubbles to have a piece of cake which was on a table in our path! I didn’t serve any drinks! This evening our son in UK organised a fun Zoom quiz with lots of family joining in. We all sang happy birthday and our granddaughter had a cake for him to blow the candles out....not a real one!! Hubby knew nothing about this Zoom time at all so it was a lovely surprise. The day ended with a glorious sunset and both of us falling asleep in front of the tv!
