Stillness

As working days go it wasn’t too bad. No calls first thing which meant I had time to get my head into the day before my first meeting for a change. I’m concerned about a colleague who lives alone and who is struggling with the isolation. Things are so different for each of us. Lunch was a grab and go for me today as meetings were back to back in the early afternoon. I made sure I was finished a bit early as a group of friends had planned a zoom call to wish one our our group a Happy 50th birthday. We had all sent video messages but we wanted to catch up with him in person. It was so lovely to catch up with everyone and, as well as Sharing some old photos and the appearance of several cats, we had a zoom first - a live chicken! Whatever next? It’s a beautiful night with the weather set fair for the rest of the week.
