Biking

This morning I did the cleaning chores and several loads of laundry. I made some more homemade soup for lunch - during the week everyone does their own thing but at the weekend it’s nice that we all eat the same thing and it gives me the excuse to cook from scratch: today was tomato and white bean. Very tasty. This afternoon the boys re-watched the 1998 World Cup England vs Argentina match - the one where Beckham got sent off! I set about some pruning in the front garden which has left us with a big pile of garden waste! It looks much better anyway. Our next door neighbour has been working on his front garden during lock down and I’m doing my best to keep up ! I went out on my bike to the local country park where I took this blip. It was busy but no worse than it has been. Mexican chicken for dinner and then some flute practice and the family zoom calls. My nephew in the USA graduated this week so it was good to be able to congratulate him in person. I’m tired now after all the gardening. It’s been a good weekend and I’m ready for the working week.
