New faithfuls?

So here are the replacements for yesterday's old faithfuls.

Same brand...I guess you can see the development. OK, they are not laces-ups, but they have moved away from Canvas and replaced the wooden sole with a leather one, and of course adhered to it ...the compound rubber thick under-sole for today's adventure man, go anywhere, do anything photographer! Easier to keep clean looking, as a bit of spit and polish is all that's required.

On the other hand, I quite liked the fact that I just brushed the mud off the oldies and dried them under a radiator. Good to go.

Best give these newbies the chance to become faithful. Having worn them on half a dozen occasions, I must say, they are very comfortable!
