cheeky view

when I went upstairs to feed the Lonesome Hamster this morning I took advantage of the absence of humans (they are away skiing) and poked my camera out of their window. On a clear day, their view is wonderful. Here you can see the cathedral, a UNESCO Heritage site and, in the background the Lake of Constance.

I'm still feeling like poop. Mr S is as well, apparently. He forgot to take his phone and keys to work with him so I only have a short email as proof. Well, and the fact that his most essential items - phone and keys - are here. That probably indicates that he's not at his best. Sadly, the people who we are supposed to be skiing with this weekend are also ill so are coming home from the mountains early. We are destined to never ski with them. Summer holidays work perfectly, winter holidays are always cancelled :-( We'll be going up tomorrow night anyway and the mountain air will cure us of all ills. I have decided.
