Ready Steady & Neddy

Woke up so many times last night, not for long thankfully.......woke up late as a result, 9.05!

Lovely sunny morning, not what was forecast but not complaining...lovely morning for a run, so donned my black & lime green lycra, to make sure they could see me coming ;-)

I headed towards daughters, but a different slightly longer route, hub said he would give me 45 mins before leaving home in the car ......really enjoyed being out, quite a few other cyclists and runners doing the same......I stopped to take this shot of these lovely old gee-gees stood in the shade of this big old tree, before turning off down the lane by the sailing club, which was further than I expected to get! Eventually up onto the main road.....still no sign, I was getting close to daughters so really wanted to make it, just as I cut through and came out opposite her house hub pulled up in the car, so I was well chuffed :-) just under 4 miles in an hour.

We sat apart in her back garden chatting, but then it really clouded over, luckily hub had brought our bodywarmers. Stayed for an hour or so, then headed back for a very late brunch!

After lunch I jumped in the shower, thne put on some jeans & jumper to warm up.....even clicked the heating up for a short while.

A lazyish afternoon......and this evening an unconventional Sunday lunch, liver sauasage and onion gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots, brocolli & green beans :-)....stuffed afterwards.

Had some really sad news today which has affected a good friend of mine, really knocked the stuffing out of me.......god knows how she must be feeling :-(
