Water water everywhere

Hopeless nights sleep.......5 hrs tops, resulting in a pretty rubbish day today.

Downstairs late, after lazing in bed feeling sorry for myself. Within 10 mins of getting downstairs I was in tears, having thrown out the last two bouquets of flowers and began to take down hubs cards, as I promised myself I would.......but no chance, just not ready to do that yet and so it went on all morning, not much better by mid day.....the sky was dumping rain down like stair-rods and I was creating my own waterfalls :-/

Messaged daughter, she hadnt slept well and wasnt having the best day either, so we consoled each other. I felt really angry about things today, so much so I actually kicked out at the sofa, then the wall......which hurt incidentally, finally got a grip and made.myself something to eat before making one or two phone calls and made yet another to do list!

Sis checked up on me too, also spoke to both sons as the day progressed. Got a few things done eventually.

By late afternoon the rain had stopped, the skies were bright blue with lots of sunshine, but the wind had got up.....anyhow, grabbed a shot of hubs rhododendron, that me and sis chose using the voucher she and BiL had bought for hubs 70th.....I think he would have approved!!

Dinner this evening was pork stir fry with fried rice, courtesy of my sis, it was really nice!!

Well after last nights debacle I am going to have a very early night, so fingers crossed!!

Todays been a challenge in more ways than one, hearing all the stories of people meeting up for the first time .....feeling deprived and a close friend of mine said this morning that her brother passed away last night, at only 60, je was the phototgrpaher at my first wedding, rest in peace David xx
