Painted Skies

Art floats threw the air. It gets caught amoungst the reaching branches and provides shelter for a village of weary dancers. It is welcomed shade from the shining sun and later from the delicate drops of rain carried on the wind. It pulses with the music, pulled back and forth and in doing so, ripples shards of colour into the imagination.

Festivals, a haven of creativity, where even the sky is painted in fabrics to test our perceptions. The colours covering the stages at this years Rainbow Serpent Festival were stunning - so many potential photos, but alas (as is to be expected with me), I was distracted by shiny things and only took a few, most of which were very average. As such I would ask that you take my word of the kaleidoscope that snakes its way across the fields....in fact, if you could just imagine this photo to be something completely different that represents that to you - well that would be great :)
