The Rainbow Connection

In the middle of nowhere, strangers are destined to become friends; and friends form bonds, histories that will define them. Laughter, tears, inspiration and awe, lost people are found and found people get lost...lost amongst the colour, in the rhythm of the music, in the whirlwind of conversation and in the moment....

17000 people say hello as they wander through a camp site, pull up a chair, chase bubbles like children and play dress ups before hiking up a hill to see a sunrise that heralds further celebration.

Time is suspended, the seriousness of life is suspended, the rainbow connection brings us together - the sun brings hope, the moon brings magic and as we dance under sails that envelop us and stars that guide us, we welcome the Rainbow Serpent festival for 2013.
