LOCK DOWN – DAY 54
Today I went on a mammoth walk. 13.6 miles to be precise. Here in Scotland we still can't drive to exercise, but going on a walk from our house and returning to our house is fine we think. Actually the rules state that one has to stay local but unfortunately the rules don't actually state how 'local' 'local' is???? It's all very confusing isn't it? Anyway even though we walked for 13.6 miles if we'd been accosted and told to go home we were probably only about 4-5 miles away from home during any of our walk. You can check out our route here.
We're trying to get all the 'Edinburgh Golf Courses' walked before Nicola lifts the restrictions and lets the golfers back on the courses.
Absolutely loving our 'golf courses' walks. Today I had a run about on the Merchants Golf Course, Kingsknowe Golf Course and Baberton Golf Course and then we came home via the Waters of Leith & the Union Canal.
I am turning into such a good little collie pup. The only naughty thing I did today was chase baby bunnies on Kingsknowe Golf Course. There were loads of them just sitting in the sunshine waiting to be chased. Unfortunately I didn't manage to catch any of them and I also didn't come straight back to Ann when she shouted, 'Trixie come' so she got a bit angry with me.
We're both tired now. I've just gobbled up all my dinner and am having a snooze and Ann has poured herself a glass of wine and is going to have beef stir-fry for dinner. And then we're going to have to watch 'Non-Eurovision' because let's face it; there's not much else to do tonight.
Toodles. xxxxx
