Dinner
We’ve had an early day off from the Booster routine (Day 5 instead of Day 7), basically so that we could have a drink during the Friday quiz night! But there was no bread to be found anywhere in the flat so I knocked up these rolls: sweet-potato, pumpkin seed and feta. I was a bit worried about them because the yeast I used was at least a decade past its optimistic bubble-up date and the rise was on the glacial side of slow but after six or seven hours proving they were needed for dinner so they had to go in the oven. And amazingly they turned out fine. Half for dinner and the rest for the freezer. It’s back to the low-carb, no beer diet tomorrow. Ah well, it must be doing me good!
