Testing the Waters

One canoe had been placed on the shore by the hire people on this calm morning.  I wonder if they had any takers.
‘The Tuner’ had a croquet club committee meeting this afternoon and I went round the lawns with yellow spray paint re-marking the faded and almost invisible positions of the corner flags and half-way marks.
