Motatapu River Valley

We walked some of this track from the Mt Aspiring Road end.  It starts with steep steps up,  a few stiles to get over and  then lots of steep steps down to the river.  The track was a bit overgrown and a bit wet and in one place we had to bend double to crawl under a fallen tree!  It was just lovely to be out there.  A couple of extras.  It was afternoon and the light lovely.  (I had an appointment at the hairdresser in the morning after an abandoned one at the start of the lockdown - so good to be tidy again!)
