The straight path
Today's task. I spent four hours clearing the right hand edge of the driveway. It was clogged with dead leaves and needles from the conifer on the right of the raised bed. It's been building up for years with small weeds and generally looked a mess. I'm really pleased with how well it looks now. I just have to do the other side now!!!! That won't be until my back has recovered, I'm off for a long hot soak this evening.
Had a lovely change socially distanced chat with S (masked) and K from across the road, S just happened to be passing in her car. Lovely to chat. Look forward to seeing you soon for a coffee.
Other than that I had two Zoom meetings, thank goodness I'm retired and don't have to work any longer, I'd be far too busy to fit it in!!! . The first a UK wide Cursillo leadership meeting which was mainly a catch up. The second was our regular Thursday evening prayer service, led this week by a member of the congregation as our Rector is home on a stay - cation!
We had our usual clap for carers this evening, after a decline in numbers over the last couple of weeks, this week there were more people again. Good to see, lots of car horns as they drove past too.
Friday again tomorrow and another week gone by, where does the time go.
Keep well everybody and stay safe. Thanks for dropping by.
